BMICE is the Maghreb bank created with the aim of strengthening the integration of the five countries of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU): Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania.
Its creation is part of the efforts to exploit the potential and opportunities induced by the Maghreb economic integration in order to provide the countries of the region with alternative levers of economic growth, with what follows in terms of impact on their development.
To do so, BMICE offers its North African customers a variety of financing products, namely:
Financing lines for investments
These credits are intended to finance investment projects in different economic sectors with a maturity of up to 7 years for equipment financing and up to 10 years for “Project Finance”:
*Equipment creation, extension, renewal projects
*Industrial modernization and upgrade projects
*Acquisitions of transport material and equipment
*Restructuring operations.
Financing lines for foreign trade operations
BMICE offers innovative and flexible solutions to support companies residing in the Arab Maghreb Union countries in their commercial transactions to or from another UMA country.
The financing of foreign trade can cover all stages of the operating cycle and thus allow the development of intra-Maghreb trade and the revitalization of intra-UMA trade.
Funding for the operating cycle can cover individually or globally:
*Financing of the purchase of raw materials, semi-finished products or finished products.
*Financing of related services and costs
*Financing the production cycle
*The financing of the receivables
The foreign trade finance line has a maximum maturity of up to 18 months.
Interbank financing lines
Lines granted by BMICE to financial institutions in the Maghreb for the financing or refinancing of intra-Maghreb foreign trade for a maximum period of 36 months.
The Market Surety lines
BMICE works to support UMA companies throughout the process of carrying out private or public contracts in other UMA countries. To this end, BMICE can make available to companies the issue of market guarantees necessary for the proper execution of contracts.
